are you guys walking back to my math Bridge lesson today we're beginning a new unit and we're getting with the first lesson which has to do with averages you may have also heard of the term mean mean a synonym for the same concept of the same thing so far Jackets today we work I want to calculate the average of several numbers in real-world problems if you're going to want to have calculator calculator your phone have it handy we're going to be doing some addition and division AXA to steps for calculating the average let's see what it looks like is going to haircut and the woman is generalization right for example of someone who's not from California on average what's the temperature in Los Angeles right now. 70 on average you know if I were to do it mathematically I would take the temperature of each day in Los Angeles all 365 days out of all those two shirts and then divided by 365 that would give me the average temperature of let's save 2021 but but it's just to give us a to the nearest tenth when you when you with your answers already is nothing to round you know if you were to have 797 and they / 10 this is what you get us an answer so so to the they say round to the nearest tenth already to the tenths place the only time we would need a round is if it said round to the nearest whole number then this would go up to 80 sometimes you know they say things like round to nearest and I'll give you a Play Store sometimes it's like you know they telling you doing the instructions but it's not it's not necessary that situation doesn't come up what's 68 + 160 all right
