Hello, Culver City Adult School Community!
We are thrilled to welcome everyone back for a new school year! We hope you had a relaxing and rejuvenating summer break and are feeling ready for all that this year has in store. A special thank-you goes to our incredible staff for spending the summer preparing, planning, and getting everything ready for a successful start.
We kicked off the year with our first-ever Open House, held just one week before the start of school. It was an amazing opportunity to welcome members of our community onto our campus, give tours, introduce our new CTE classes and expanding educational opportunities, and connect with some of our wonderful teachers. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the event such a success! We look forward to continuing to grow our partnerships and create more opportunities for community engagement throughout the year.
On August 21, our team gathered for our annual All-Staff Meeting. Thank you to our incredible team for being there, and most importantly, for showing up with so much energy and enthusiasm. We are incredibly grateful for the amazing team that makes our school community so special.
During our meeting, we proudly unveiled this year’s theme: “Chart Your Course.” You’ll see this theme throughout the school year—in our communications, graphics, flyers, and even displays throughout our halls. Our goal is to help every student visualize their journey, identify where they want to go, and find the roadmap to get from Point A to Point B and reach their goals.
And remember, you don’t have to navigate that journey alone. If you have questions, need help creating your roadmap, or aren’t sure what your next step should be, our counselor is here to help guide and support you along the way.
We have officially completed our first week of school, and we couldn’t be more excited for the fall term ahead. Thank you to our students, staff, and community for making the start of this school year so meaningful. We look forward to charting this course together and making this a year of growth, opportunity, and success!

Nos complace muchísimo darles la bienvenida a un nuevo año escolar. Esperamos que hayan disfrutado de unas vacaciones de verano relajantes y renovadoras, y que estén listos para todo lo que este año tiene preparado. Queremos expresar un agradecimiento especial a nuestro increíble personal por dedicar tiempo durante el verano a preparar, planificar y dejar todo listo para comenzar el año con éxito.
Iniciamos el año con nuestro primer Open House, realizado apenas una semana antes del comienzo de clases. Fue una excelente oportunidad para recibir a miembros de nuestra comunidad, ofrecer recorridos por el plantel, presentar nuestras nuevas clases de Educación Técnica Profesional (CTE) y las oportunidades educativas que continúan expandiéndose, así como conectar con algunos de nuestros maravillosos docentes. Gracias a todas las personas que asistieron y contribuyeron al éxito de este evento. Esperamos seguir fortaleciendo nuestras alianzas y creando más oportunidades de participación comunitaria a lo largo del año.
El 21 de agosto, nuestro equipo se reunió para nuestra junta anual de todo el personal. Gracias a nuestro increíble equipo por acompañarnos y, sobre todo, por participar con tanta energía y entusiasmo. Estamos profundamente agradecidos con el extraordinario equipo que hace que nuestra comunidad escolar sea tan especial.
Durante nuestra reunión, presentamos con orgullo el tema de este año: “Traza tu rumbo”. Verán este tema a lo largo del año escolar en nuestras comunicaciones, materiales gráficos, volantes e incluso en las exhibiciones de nuestros pasillos. Nuestro objetivo es ayudar a cada estudiante a visualizar su trayectoria, identificar hacia dónde desea dirigirse y encontrar la ruta que le permita avanzar del Punto A al Punto B y alcanzar sus metas.
Recuerden que no tienen que recorrer ese camino solos. Si tienen preguntas, necesitan ayuda para crear su plan o no están seguros de cuál debe ser su próximo paso, nuestra consejera está aquí para orientarlos y apoyarlos a lo largo del camino.
Hemos completado oficialmente nuestra primera semana de clases y estamos muy entusiasmados por el semestre de otoño que tenemos por delante. Gracias a nuestros estudiantes, personal y comunidad por hacer que el comienzo de este año escolar sea tan especial. Esperamos trazar este rumbo juntos y hacer de este un año lleno de crecimiento, oportunidades y éxito.
