are you guys going back to her math Bridge lesson so we're wrapping up our current unit with our final lesson and we're talkin about summarizing information so every lesson has been building up to this so now this is the final step of analyzing the information to summarize the first is going to be to use graphs and charts to make predictions and finally identify the variables when making predictions that's the whole point of collecting data denies it into charts and graphs make it easier to understand we interpret the data and go through all of this trouble so that we can make informed decisions about the future used for much more than visually showing difference isn't this tools to value this is this is the primary reason for the use of graphs right yeah it makes it easier to understand information because we can interpret it at a glance right as opposed to reading it through text but the main purpose is so that we can make decisions decisions about the future based off of the past let's see what this woman has the same since it took me 6 minutes to process the first package in 5 minutes to process the second one that means you should take me 4 minutes to cross the so she's making this assumption based on her processing time decreasing by 1 minute so using that logic each time to process packages should go down by minute I know how solid that logic is because what happens when she's on the on the 7th package right is she going to do it at zero minutes alright so let's take a look at this chart we're looking at population in billions from 1950 to 20 is a. figure out what 12% of that was and then do $52,000 2% of that was and subtract each of those values from each other are we could also just do 12 - 2 is 10% and figure out what that difference is 4% - 2% that's the difference in population we just have to figure out what 10% is of 52,000 10% hundred percent you just moved over to the left however many zeros you have here we have 10 in the number 10 means that the decimal place got shifted over one spot so 52,000 becomes 5200 okay so same amount 52000 how many people were born in states are there the ones listed so Riverfront to this other is
