On May 2, 2025: CCAS welcomes West Los Angeles College (WLAC) Instructor, Dr. Ricardo Hooper, to the team! Dr. Hooper is teaching a 5-week non-credit college course at our school that includes: Academic Guidance; Introduction to College; and Computer Literacy. The last day to register for the course is May 9th and the classes take place on Fridays, May 2nd-June 6th, from 9:00 - 11:30 a.m.

On April 26, 2025: Students in the Culver City Adult School’s Medical Assistant program had their final practicum day. They completed a final exam and continued to practice skills (injections, skin punctures, injections, and venipunctures) at stations under the supervision of SCROC staff. Students received certificates for completing the 4-day hands-on practicum that prepared them for success in a role as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. Next step…the National Certification Exam! Thank you, students, for your strong focus!
